My ALL TIME Favorite Baking Tools

Over the last 4 years I have accumulated a LARGE amount of baking tools and sometimes I don't even know where to put them all! That being said I do have my favorites and they all have a special purpose/reason I keep them. So today I'd like to share with you guys my favorites! I'll include pictures and links. (P.S. I LOVE Amazon so a lot of my stuff comes from there!)

Obviously being a baker you need cake pans! My favorite cake pans are spring cake pans. You can get them in different sizes and shapes. I usually buy them in a set and then buy multiple of each sets because I like to make big layered cakes! Some times cake pans can be expensive but I tried to find cheap ones that are good quality!

Another one of my favorite tools that I use every time I make cakes is a cake leveler. I genuinely don't know what I would do without it because even if my life depended on it, I can't cut a level cake layer with a knife. The cake leveler can be a little time consuming and messy but it's so worth having nice and even cake layers!

One tool that I just recently got in a nice gift bag from a family, as a thank you for making their son's birthday cake, is a Wilton silicone cake tester! Basically when you take out cakes or cupcakes you always check with a toothpick (or at least I do) but sometimes with taller cakes that becomes hard, so this tool has a nice long "toothpick" attached to the cutest silicone cupcake on top.

One of the most helpful tools ever is metal flower nails that are used for making flowers out of icing, but I use them as heating cores. There are regular heating cored that you can buy but I've just always used flower nails because I already have a ton of them. Basically they're used to heat the core of the cake and it helps bake the cakes all the way through, keep the cake

more layered, and for large cake batches it speeds up the time.

Finally, plastic cake covers and boards. I use these EVERY SINGLE TIME I bake cakes that need to be delivered or when I bake really large cakes that will take my family some time to devour. I like to use a nice reusable one for when a cake is just staying at home but when it's being transported/delivered to some one I use throwaway plastic ones. The cake covers are so much easier to use than saran wrap and it helps keep the cake fresh without having to cut up a masterpiece and shove it Cake Cover Link in tupperware.
